Serve anyway

Some days all you can do is to serve in quietness. There will be no pats on the back or warm smiles to recognize your service. Nobody will notice that you are even in the house while you work. While you serve you will wonder if it was enough, was it done correctly. You will have no gauge, no guide to measure your work only your heart. In those moments of silence and absence of thankfulness the crude and course actions and words of people will be loud. Your insecurities will be attacked and vulnerable. Don’t yield to what you feel in those moments. Continue to serve in quietness and faithfulness to Christ. Let your actions be invested into the Lord who served us and gave to us. Be satisfied to know that He sees, He hears and He cares for you and accepts your quiet service as worship to Him.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
